Kuikuy DSCR: digital scale rule (DSCR). [Entrepreneurship Project] (Unpublished)
Abstract
Our product is Digital Scale Rule (DSCR). Digital Scale Rule is a rechargeable scale rule with digital screen and control button for accurate measurement. It is flexible and has simple calculator. This product is designated specially for Quantity Surveyor, Architect and other professions which involved in construction industry. It is produced to replace the traditional scale rule. It consists of screen that show the measurement, the scale button, callipers, solar pad and on/off button. In the field of Quantity Surveyor, drawing plans are needed. Traditional scale rule are used to measure the length and to enable the practitioners to make an estimate of building's length. Traditional scale rule* are time consuming, have human errors and inconsistency in measurement among Quantity Surveyors which lead to inaccurate building cost. Thus, the new Digital Scale Rule eliminated the drawback of the traditional scale rule.
