Abstract

KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 10 — All highways on the west coast of Peninsular Malaysia including the North-South Expressway will be RFID-ready on the 15th of January 2022. Unlike Touch ‘n Go card and SmartTAG, each unique RFID tag is tied to a specific vehicle and is non-transferable. Some of you might be wondering, what if you don’t stick the RFID tag to the car and will it work if you hold it manually while you drive through the RFID lane?
