#TECH: more Asean business leaders take cybersecurity seriously - study. [Newspaper] (2022)
Abstract
KUALA LUMPUR: Global cybersecurity firm, Palo Alto, recently unveiled how the disruptions caused by Covid-19 has led Asean business leaders to prioritise cybersecurity issue at the board level in their recent 2021 research. The State of Cybersecurity in Asean study surveyed and received 500 respondents from Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Thailand on their perceptions of the 2021 cybersecurity challenges and outlook for the future. According to the study, cybersecurity has become one the top leadership agenda for many Asean businesses with 92 per cent of the majority believe that cybersecurity to be today's business leaders' priority while 74 per cent believe their leadership has focused more on cybersecurity.
