Abstract
Child nutritional status is an important indicator of the general well-being of a population. Annually, more than one third of over 10 million deaths of children under-five are attributable to under nutrition. Underweight, stunting, wasting and micronutrient deficiencies are still prevalent throughout the developing world, particularlyin marginalized and improverished communities. There is also a rising concern of overweight and obesity in young children.
