#TECH: Digi shares internet safety fun tips with safe internet comic series. [Newspaper] (2022)
Abstract
SUBANG JAYA: Cybercrimes know no age, gender or background. Understanding this and the importance of online safety education, Digi makes Safe Internet education simple, engaging and relatable in six-part comic series. Advocating for a safer internet for children for over a decade now, Digi partnered with renowned comic artists, Nixon Siow and Daniel Mok to launch a comic series—another approach to educate Malaysians especially the youths on staying vigilant, and on social media etiquette. The topics covered in the series include the importance of creating stronger passwords, online shopping scams, fake websites leading to malware infection, oversharing online, online stalkers and romance scams.
