Abstract
The Capricorder 1598 is a long term recorder in which the Time and Stage range is virtually unlimited, the life of the batteries and the length of paper tape available are the two main limiting factors. despite this versatility of the recorder it is strongly recommended taht the recorder is serviced at not longer than monthly intervals.
