Abstract

The Melaka government is actively carrying out river dredging works under the flood mitigation project (RTB) in preparation for the northeast monsoon season that is set to begin in November.

State Works, Transport, Public Facilities, Infrastructure and Flood Management Committee chairman Datuk Rahmad Mariman said in addition, the installation of flood warning systems in 18 hotspots was expected to be completed by the end of this month.
