Abstract
Putrajaya, strategically located at the south of the populous Klang Valley, is being developed by the Federal Government into a "City in a Garden" concept with the 600 hectares of the
Putrajaya Lake as it focal point. Created by constructing a dam across two small rivers, the Sg. Chuau and Sg. Limau Manis, the lake is required to cater for its multi-functional uses and always has to be in its pristine condition with a high water quality requirement.
