Abstract
The solar PV sector has been booming over the last decade and is forecasted to confirm this trend in the coming years. Net Energy Metering (NEM) scheme which allows consumers who generate electricity from solar energy for their own use, as well feeding electricity they do not use back into the grid, is expected to accelerate in the next few years, in line with the Government initiatives under the RMK11 to increase the penetration of renewable energy in the energy mix.
