Abstract
Electricity is, undoubtedly, the most important resource
in modern society, as it – literally and figuratively –
powers the engine of the economy. Malaysia is a good example of that, as advances in living standards and economic development are commensurate with a rise in electricity consumption. The challenge with this situation is that while demand will keep on rising as the economy grows, supply is finite. In order to address this, the Energy Commission is determined to enhance consumers’ awareness on energy efficiency.
