New battery model integrating the internal resistance as a function of temperature

New battery model integrating the internal resistance as a function of temperature. Journal of Transport System Engineering, 5 (1). pp. 37-41. ISSN 2289–9790 (2018)

Abstract

A battery model is constructed to predict the performance under various operating conditions. This is done by considering the basic variable of the battery such as its operating temperature, discharging or charging current, battery cycle number and battery life time to simulate the output of the battery terminal. The aim is to integrate an accurate battery internal resistance dependent of temperature to the model. The simulation result is compared to the result from experimental, in term of the terminal voltage. The predicted result from simulation result is then compared to the experimental result proving that the proposed model is effective and operational.
