Abstract

BATU PAHAT, 19 January 2022 - UMP’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) project Lighting Up the Community this time witnessed the installation of a solar powered spotlight system for community facilities here by adding lighting at wakaf and vehicle parking at Masjid Pekan Sri Medan and student houses in Kampung Parit Singgahan Dalam in Batu Pahat, Johor.
This solar installation is in line with the UMP program which is based on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) which is a global agenda in line with the 17 goals to be achieved as introduced by the United Nations (UN) for all countries by 2030.
