Abstract
Tapioca is a sources of carbohydrate and is a staple diet in many countries, including Malaysia. It is planted in many areas, especially in the kampungs and we normally pull out tapioca from the ground using a ‘parang’ and hoe. “Picksava” is ergonomically designed using a first class lever system which reduces the use of energy and risk of injury. With a suitable height of handle and foot paddle, users only need to apply some body weight as the force to get the tapioca out from the ground.
