Abstract
A new solar farm began operations early this month, taking Malaysia another step forward in the quest to reach the target of generating at least 20% of its energy through the use of renewables by 2025.
The solar farm, located in Kerian district in Perak, has a capacity of 100mw and is able to supply more than 212GWh of power per year to the national grid.
