Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the accident rate in the last 12 months in Pulp and Paper Industries in East Coast Malaysia. Researcher believed that the level of safety climate has a relationship with the accident rate. Therefore, this study was undertaken to analyze the rate of accidents in the Pulp and Paper Industries in last 12 months. The study was conducted using questionnaires where the questionnaire was distributed to 100 respondents consisting of managers, executives, engineers, clerical and technicians in the organization.
