Abstract
Magalai Labuk is a traditional dance of the Labuk tribe of the Dusun ethnic in Beluran District that initially was this tribe’s social dance freely improvised before restructured in the 1980s. In the tribal language ‘Magalai’ means ‘to dance’, while ‘Labuk’ is the name of a partial area in the Beluran sub-district that is Labuk-Sugut.
