Abstract
The 10th of October 2007 was a historic day for Malaysia as we witnessed the launch of our first angkasawan to the International
Space Station. It was also a historic moment for the Malaysian scientific fraternity as it marked the first time experiments from our scientists were brought to space. The science programme was essentially a mandatory part of the angkasawan programme as with any manned missions by other nations.
