Abstract
Modern design ideas are carefully mixed with the creative ideas of nature in the CANGKUK design process. In order to push the limits of what is beautiful in furniture, this creative armchair is based on the graceful, hooked arms of a praying mantis. The armchair is designed to be comfortable and stylish by following the body's natural curves. Its shape and lines are inspired by the mantis's natural beauty. Natural touch materials are used to make structures, which gives them a more natural look and makes them last longer. Based on where the mantis lives in the wild, the soft colour design was created. The CANGKUK is a furniture piece that makes you think about how beautiful and flexible nature is. Because it combines form and function, it's more than just furniture. Finally, the CANGKUK shows a unique way that the mantis's complex form can be turned into beautiful and useful furniture, demonstrating the way that nature and design can work together to make each other better. This vague armchair idea explains all the different ways that nature can inspire people to be creative because it skillfully combines the natural and the modern.
