Using “Modelling Clay” in 3D model making for ISMP art student at Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris. Jurnal Seni dan Pendidikan Seni, 4. ISSN 2289-4640 (2016)
Abstract
This research study was carried out to improve the quality of education among students of Bachelor of Education (ISMP) Art in the Field of Industrial Design through the production model three-dimensional (3D) using "modelling clay" which is produced by using a mixture of silicon. The target group for this study is the art school students who take advanced subject of industrial design. The material used for the usability and application of modelling clay to create 3D models among ISMP Art. The method of data that is used is observation, visual recordings, interviews and mapping of places. The findings of this study prove the usability and application of modelling clay in the ISMP Art through the assignment to produce a car model made in groups. The use of this clay modelling has advantages and improvements in generating a 3D model.
