Abstract

The Sarawak government is now conducting a study to review the existing solid waste management in all the 26 local councils.The study includes assessing the amount and types of wastes generated, transported and treated as well as the condition of existing treatment facilities – dumpsites and landfills in all the 26 local authorities (LA) in Sarawak.
