Abstract
KUCHING: Research on Orang Ulu paintings in the Sarawak Museum Department (JMS) collection will be documented in an effort to help the general public, especially in Sarawak, better understand the art form and tradition of the community.
Friends of Sarawak Museum founder Louise Macul said she was currently collecting complete information on the ethnic painting to be submitted to the museum.
"So far, there is no documentation for Orang Ulu paintings as objects in the museum collection. Therefore, I am ready to help and even support it so that it is recognized as an object that needs to be documented and a story that needs to be told to the general public.
