Abstract
PEMOTONG sawit bermotor yang dikenali sebagai 'Cantas' telah diperkenalkan oleh MPOB pada tahun 2007. Cantas pada ketika itu disasarkan untuk pokok sawit dengan aras tuai di bawah ketinggian 5 meter. Ia telah dipatenkan di enam buah negara iaitu Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Brazil, Columbia dan Costa Rica sebagai melindungi harta intelek (IP) teknologi ini.
