Abstract
A thorough chemical analysis must be done to ascertain the death of a pygmy elephant at the Melangking oil palm plantation in Kinabatangan on Christmas Day, says Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Christina Liew.
Liew, who is also state Tourism, Culture and Environment Minister, said there was a need to carry out a detailed toxicology analysis to find out conclusively the cause of death of the five to eight year old elephant.
