Abstract

Sharing the planting program for degraded mangroves and coastal areas in Sabah. The estimated coverage of mangrove areas in Sabah is approximately 364,168 ha or 60% of the total mangrove in Malaysia. From this total it is estimated that approx. 2,440 ha or one percent of the areas is within the Permanent Forest Reserves, and this need to be rehabilitated.
