Abstract
KUCHING: Founded in 2019, Creamy Cream is a small bakery business which sells a variety of baked goods. They make customised birthday cakes, cupcakes as well as sweet and savoury pastries, while also providing themed decor like birthday candles and toppers. Abby Chiew, the founder of Creamy Cream, started her bakery business on her own with assistance from her parents and close friends. According to Abby, starting a business during a pandemic was not easy, but she managed to pull through with help from her loved ones. However, business was slow for Abby in the beginning, as she was only able to sell 10 cakes a month through pre-order sales.
