Abstract
KUALA LUMPUR: The enforcement of a new provision of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) Act 2009 regarding graft offences involving commercial organisations comes into effect today.
The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC), in a statement today, said the new provision, under Section 17A of the MACC Act 2009 (Amendment 2018), was enforced following a federal gazette on May 27, which was issued on the authority of Minister in the Prime Minister's Department (Parliament and Law) Datuk Takiyuddin Hassan.
