Abstract
To be future relevant, it is critical that accountants today be agile, flexible, and open to exploring new prospects. MIA urged members to capitalize on regional opportunities in the high-growth ASEAN and Asia-Pacific zones, in order to future proof their careers and the profession. It is vital for members to look beyond Malaysia’s small domestic market by exploring the opportunities emerging from the offshoring of business processes and supply chains and the implementation of trade pacts such as the RCEP.
