Abstract
The Computer Programming is a skill that is needed in various fields such as engineering, medicine, environment, education, mathematics, and so forth. Interactive courseware requirements have an important role in teaching and learning programming. This study was conducted to examine the role of interactive courseware to facilitate teaching and learning processes based on students' perceptions.
The research instrument used a set of questionnaire which was distributed and answered by 38 students in Bangi, Selangor. The studyshows that students have positive perceptions towards the use of interactive courseware. This study suggests an interactive courseware should suit the needs and requirement of students for the original goal to be achieved using the software.
