Time dotCom embarking on multi-cloud growth strategy via subsidiary AVM Cloud. [Newspaper] (2021)
Abstract
KUALA LUMPUR: Time dotCom Bhd (TIME), through its subsidiary AVM Cloud Sdn Bhd (AVM), is embarking on a multi-cloud strategy to further grow its enterprise division's customer base. TIME executive vice president, enterprise division Kit Au said the future of cloud computing lies in the use of multi-cloud architectures, which in essence comprises multiple cloud computing and storage services in a single network architecture. "The distribution of cloud assets, software, applications, and more across several cloud environments often results in customers being able to realise lower total-cost-of-ownership (TCO)," said Kit in a statement today.
