MCMC doing it’s best to resolve internet problem in Tenom. [Newspaper] (2021)

Abstract

The problem of Internet access in Tenom, which has caused difficulties for students and teachers to pursue Home-based Teaching and Learning (PdPR), is being resolved expeditiously, according to the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC).
In a statement here, Saturday, MCMC said a communication tower is under construction in Kampung Bamban and is expected to be completed in April 2022.
The statement was issued following Bernama’s report about several teachers at Sekolah Menengah Jenis Kebangsaan Chung Hwa Tenom having to drive some 40 km to send PdPR materials to students due to poor Internet access.
