Internet problems in Tenom being rectified: MCMC. [Newspaper] (2021)



Abstract

The problem of Internet access in Tenom, located about 170 kilometres south of here, which has caused difficulties for students and teachers to pursue Home-based Teaching and Learning (PdPR), is being resolved expeditiously, according to the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission.
In a statement here today, MCMC said a communication tower is under construction in Kampung Bamban and is expected to be completed in April 2022.
The statement said another new communication tower would be built near Kampung Batu 14 under the National Digital Network (JENDELA) initiative and construction would begin in early 2022.
