Abstract
TOURISM players in Langkawi hope that the emergence of the Omicron Covid-19 variant will not seriously impact the island's international travel bubble programme. Langkawi Homestay Association chairman Mohtar Shabudin Ismail said many establishments had received plenty of enquiries from holidaymakers in Singapore and Europe ever since Langkawi was reopened to fully vaccinated international travellers on Nov 15.
