Abstract
The Miri City Council has formed a task force to assist, facilitate and promote the city as a choice destination for Sarawak's Malaysia My Second Home programme (S-MM2H). Miri Mayor Adam Yii Siew Sang said the city has ideal attributes for the promotion and the development of the S-MM2H programme, which will bring economic benefits to the city by way of property purchase, provision of supplies and services, as well as economic prosperity and vibrancy. He said, apart from the "bread and butter business" of providing regular city services and management of Miri, the council has also been active in finding ways and means to enhance Miri's economy.
