Celcom acquires ICT, cybersecurity company Bridgenet. [Newspaper] (2021)
Abstract
KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 30): Celcom Axiata Berhad (Celcom) announced the acquisition of Bridgenet Solutions Sdn Bhd, an information and technology solutions service provider specialising in cybersecurity and networking solutions, as well as managed services for enterprises.
According to Celcom’s statement released on Tuesday (Nov 30), Bridgenet was founded in 2003 and is known for their services, as well as solutions in data security, endpoint security, application security and network security.
Celcom added that the acquisition of Bridgenet reinforces Celcom’s portfolio of becoming one of the nation’s leading ICT solutions providers, in an effort to drive and address the growing demands of digitalisation and cloudification of Malaysian enterprises.
