Abstract

JOHOR BARU: Johor will implement 38 projects worth RM15.3bil to strengthen water supply security across the state, says Mentri Besar Datuk Onn Hafiz Ghazi. He added the projects were discussed during a meeting between the Johor Government and Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof, who is also the Energy Transition and Water Transformation Minister. Onn Hafiz said both the state and Federal Government had reviewed Johor’s water supply planning comprehensively, covering short-, medium- and long-term initiatives.

“The plans aim to ensure the state’s water supply remains stable, sufficient and sustainable, while supporting the needs of residents and the rapid growth of industry and investments in Johor.
